About Me

Welcome to Words on Wealth! I’m Lauren Zangardi Haynes, CIMA, CFP® a Fee-Only Financial Planner and the owner of Spark Financial Advisors.

I'm happy you're here. Words on Wealth was created with the goal of helping professionals with families design, build and enjoy their best lives. I take a different perspective on wealth. Wealth is more than money; it's time, it's experiences, and it's unique to every family.

We probably have a lot in common

I am trying to live within a budget, save for retirement, save for my kids' college educations and have some fun while doing it. Like you, I’m busy. I have three small kids who make me laugh and leave peanut butter on my shirt. I'm married to a great man. I love to read nerdy financial planning articles, cook, daydream about travel and have dance parties with my kids.

I was born and raised in Williamsburg, VA. Now I live in Richmond, VA with my family. I founded Spark Financial Advisors to help people gain greater clarity and confidence around their money. I meet with clients locally in Richmond and Williamsburg, VA but I also work with clients virtually nationwide. In particular I focus on professional women, dual-career households, and VCU Health Systems employees. Prior to starting Spark Financial Advisors I worked for a Fee-Only financial planning firm in Midlothian and as a Portfolio Analyst for U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management.

I hope you will find this blog helpful on your path to building, using and protecting your wealth. I would love to hear from you! I invite you to contact me with your questions and thoughts at Lauren(at)wordsonwealth.com or using the contact form below.
